Why no game in Google play ?

(-5)

Wait, that's illegal,

 seriously

Still don't know why I get banned on the discord server

You rock. this is something I've wanted for years and a single google search led me to this project. This is amazing, thank you so much for all your work put into this. I really hope you can make money from this and form a partnership with the dev company.

Thank you so much it's a masterpiece, and making it possible to play on mobile and the controls of it 🔥🔥🔥♥️

I never think possible a port of Amnesia and Penumbra for Mobile. Thanks a lot ❤️🖤

Couldn’t you have distributed the game engine but require people to acquire the assets legally instead of fucking over indie devs?

Wym

Honestly, this is a massive marketing L for Frictional to do this to you. Do you have a Patreon or something? A man deserves to eat for his labor and we should all chip in.

Patreon existed, but I shut it down due to lack of donators

That is interesting considering the GPL-3 license of the Amnesia source code.

It has nothing to do with the source code licensing

While sources are licensed under GPL-3, the assets are not and the Amensia IP is still a property of Frictional Games

Distributing products based on others people IP is not something you can do on a whim, for a good reason

Good example is OpenMW - community built OSS engine for Morrowind. It requires user to provide own game files, and serves as "just engine"

You buy Morrowind, you download OpenMW, provide path to game files - and voila - game on a new engine.

This project could work like that, I think, if the author changes approach

(1 edit) (+2)(-2)

If the project is distributed in this way, it will get 0 downloads

ya, but the alternative is literally piracy

(+1)(-1)

who cares?

I totally do that all the time. There is nothing difficult about it and the engine changes are awesome enough to be incentive enough.

No meu aparece (proibido)

Reinstall it

Will you make it available for iOS??

(+1)

An iOS version is not possible without entering into a partnership with Frictional Games

After installing v1.7.5 I found it installed as a new game and not an update, what is the difference with v1.7?

Bandle name error. Reuploaded it

Okay... the games feels more optimised and smoother also it seem like the textures and lightning was improved in this new version.

Do you plan to add a way to play custom stories like on PC? I love your port <3

(-1)

No

Anything new in this update?

More Amnesia-like graphics and minor fixes

(1 edit)

Alright thanks, updating asap. Thanks a lot for this. The port is truly amazing.

Any plans on giving the source code?

(+2)

The source code will not be provided

Dude from a developer standpoint this is INSANE bro you have mad skills. I still haven't figured out a nice player controller for mobile and yours is awesome, I'm jealous.

(+2)(-1)

Hello! Could you provide the unity source code of the game?
I was trying to recreate some amnesia mechanics but i wasn't able to recreate them correctly and I would like to learn how did you all recreated those said mechanics.

The source code will not be provided

Was lucky enough to grab this while it was on the Play Store. Still have it installed

(+1)

The Google Play version has no advantages. Moreover, itch.io is the only place where the game is updated

Awesome, i left it installed just to have it lol. The game is pretty tight, ty for the experience.
